solvents set foot in venture capital. On November 5, the Spanish investment firm registered the fund in the registry of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). Henko Capital Partners Ia private capital product managed by Solventis SGIIC that will have the advice from Henko Partners.

The vehicle is a multisector fund focused on supporting small and medium businesses in their growth plans (with EBITDA between two and six million euros) that operate in sectors with long-term structural growth dynamics, either on the demand side (for example, increased consumption of organic food ) or supply (for example, lack of skilled technical labor).

A relevant part of the investments will be oriented towards B2B industrial businesses (business-to-business), not excluding the possibility of investing in businesses focused on the consumer (business-to-consumer).

70 million in commitments

As the entity progresses, Henko Capital Partners I has 70 million euros in commitments of investment that institutional investors will subscribe.

The fund will make direct investments in companies with strong growth potential located in Spain and Portugal and with a relevant international business component, whose development the fund will support, both from an organizational point of view and with capital contributions.

Henko Partners, which will advise Solventis in managing the fund, is led by Lars Becker, who has extensive experience in the private equity market both in Iberia and internationally, and is joined as a founding team by Íñigo Urbón, Ricardo Mellado and Jules de Meeus, also from the sector.
