Ten and a half entities and professionals in Spain have been recognized for their financial work in the first Private Banking Awards celebrated by the magazine ‘city wire‘ in Madrid. Its objective is to “shed light on the best practices of Spanish private banking and generally recognize both the quality and the growth of the networks over the years”.
On the corporate side, A&G Private Banking it has been the winner in the category of ‘private banking of the year’; threesis has emerged victorious as ‘best boutique private bank’ and Cross Capital EAF has been the ‘best financial advisory company’.
For its part, BBVA it has the ‘best digital platform for private banking’; Andbank Spain has the ‘agent network of the year’ and the ‘best range of services’ is for Deutsche Bank. On your side, A&G repeated award with the ‘best customer service’; the ‘best investment proposal’ was made by YouFirst Finance EAF forks DiverInvest EAF who has the ‘best ESG positioning’.
On the individual field, Pilar Enriquez Nistalfrom A&G Banca Privada, was chosen as ‘private banker of the year’, while Juan Antonio Belmonte, from Sabadell Urquijo, was the ‘private banker of the year’. A special prize was the one that took Jose Luis Martinez Carretonas a ‘promising banker under 35 years of age’ for his work at Renta 4 Banca Privada.
By geographical areas, Guillermo Dominguez Torres (Tressis) was the ‘best private banker in the central area’, which includes Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León and Madrid. In the northern zone (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, La Rioja, Navarra and the Basque Country), the best was Maria Martinez de Luis (A&G Private Banking). In the southern zone (Andalusia, Ceuta, Melilla, Extremadura, Canary Islands and Murcia), the winner was Alvaro Rosano Gonzalez (Bankinter). Finally, in the eastern area (Aragon, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and the Valencian Community), the winner was Roger Jane Garriga (Sabadell Urquijo).

Private bankers have been selected for ‘Citywire Spain‘ since the beginning of June, candidacies that have been published on its website during the nomination period and that all those registered in the publication were able to vote.
In parallel, Enrique Marazuela received the award for ‘personality of the year’, after passing through BBVA Banca Privada and CFA Society Spain and now at MdF Family Partners and Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
