Russia continues with the bombing of Ukraine. At the moment, the markets are scoring increases, nothing to do with the sharp falls of yesterday’s session.

We are seeing widespread rebounds in Asian markets with Tokyo Stocks up 1.86% after being closed for yesterday’s session while Sydney Stocks up 0.10%. In China, we have the Shanghai Stock Market rising 0.42% while the Hong Kong Stock Market rose 1.32%.

For its part, US futures move on profit-taking after last night’s increases and now we have the future of the Dow Jones that notes a correction of 0.46%, that of the S&P 500 down 0.60% and that of the technological Nasdaq 100 down 0.85%.

Rises that are also spreading to European overnight futures with revaluations of 0.07% for the German Dax future and 0.17% for the Euro Stoxx 50.

All this leaves us with an opening scenario with an upward gap for the Spanish selective around 8,334 points, therefore we will be able to move away from yesterday’s low zone.

Raw Materials

The commodity market continues to rise and the Petroleum rises more than 2.5% and the Brent stands at 101 dollars per barrel. These data are equivalent to maximums of the last eight years.

The wheat, whose global production is concentrated in about a third between Ukraine and Russia, is currently up 1.28%. And this percentage was added to the price escalation that had already been dragging on in recent weeks.

For its part, gold, the quintessential safe haven in times of uncertainty, is currently up 0.40% moderately. Nothing to do with the data from yesterday’s session where the ounce became up to 3% more expensive and exceeded 1,975 dollars, a level not seen since August 2020.
