Edmond de Rothschild continues to bet firmly on the Spanish market. The Swiss private bank has announced that it is strengthening its team of professionals with the incorporation of Alfonso Perez-Andujarwho will be responsible for External Asset Management (EAM) business in Spain.
Pérez-Andújar was director and head of business development in the area of Financial Intermediation Management at UBS for seven years. He was previously at PRS Investment Advisory in the Investment department in Miami and at Abante Asesores in the Wealth Management department from 2011 to 2014.
The new signing of Edmond de Rothschild will have the responsibility of attending and developing the business dedicated to EAM in Spain. This area will mainly offer services of custody in Luxembourg, as well as a wide range of solutions that, “undoubtedly, will allow us to strengthen collaborations with the group’s partners in a differential way”, it is said in the sent statement.
Doubling assets in five years
The announcement of the incorporation of Pérez-Andújar is part of the strategic plan recently approved by the company, which seeks to double the assets under management in Spain in the next five years.
